I deeply appreciate my new shoes.

They are meant to take me to interesting, fascinating, strange, wondrous places!

It's only a matter of time for them to wake me in the middle of the night and wander away away away.

Needless to say, I am incredibly restless.

In the Still of the Night

My class had a benefit dinner at school today. It was 50's themed. I had fun, but my heels were killing me by the end of the night. Oh you lovely ladies of the 50's. How did you ever deal with dresses and heels and lipstick?

I tried my friend's lipstick and it was a terrible experience. Only I can manage to put lipstick everywhere except my lips. Oh well, with practice maybe...

Happy Day-after-Valentine's Day.

Yesterday was pretty blase, nothing happened.

It wasn't even a Single's Awareness Day for me...

since I didn't even give a thought as to my love life.

Which is, at the moment, goose egg.

This weekend was supposed to be grand but family matters are in shambles so the weekend went downhill as well. Hope next year is better.

I tried making caramels but I think I burnt them.

Hahaha, isn't life wonderful??

Oh, and apparently Alexander McQueen's dead.
